Cuts For A Cause

On Wednesday, March 28 the Boston Bruins team up with 98.5 the Sports Hub for their 5th annual Cuts For A Cause.  For those of you who don’t know what this event is, it is where playerss such as Shawn Thornton, Tyler Seguin, Brad Marchand, Adam McQuaid, Milan Lucic among others come together and have fans bid on them to get the opportunity to cut their hair personally.Yes, you read that correctly, fans get to cut the players’ hair however they decide. It was last years event that brought out the infamous business in the front, party in the back mullet to Adam McQuaid. It is a great way for fans to interact with the players and for everyone to sit back, relax and have a good time.

This year the event will take place from 2:30 – 5:00 p.m. at Royale (279 Tremont, Boston, MA 02116). The team will have their heads shaved/cut by auction winners on stage to show their support and raise money for children battling cancer.

This year, fans can choose between two ticket options: VIP or General Admission. The $75 VIP ticket guarantees fans early entry to the event, a separate viewing area and the opportunity to interact with the players in the VIP section. The $25 general admission ticket includes entrance into the event and raffle tickets to win autographed Boston Bruins memorabilia.

Fans can participate by purchasing a ticket to the event or bidding on the opportunity to shave one of the player’s head. The bidding begins on Monday, March 19 and details are going to be released at a later date.Who are YOU going to bid on?
