Welcome Tommy Cross

Boston Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has signed former Boston College Captain Tommy Cross to a one-year entry level contract.  To begin he will start off with the Providence Bruins and is expected to make his debut on April 13 against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

This season Cross was the Captain of the 2012 NCAA Championship team and set career highs of 44 games played, 19 assists, 24 points and 66 penalty minutes as a defenseman.  For Boston College Cross skated in 134 regular season games with 17 goals and 33 assists.

Cross is a Simsbury, Connecticut native and a physical player who brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the mix. With his 6′ 3″, 215lb physique, he should fit in just fine.
