Today in Bruins history Bruins forward Tyler Seguin made his first ever playoff game debut against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Conference Final. As if that wasn’t good enough, Tyler was able to score his first ever playoff goal as well as get an assist. The kid showed his true talent and speed as he flew up ice and buried the puck past Dwayne Roloson, a task that the Bruins had a hard concept grasping in the opening games. While the Bruins went on to lose the game to the Tampa Bay Lightning, the advanced in the series after a well fought 7 games, moving them to the Stanley Cup Final. Today marks the day the playoff greatness of the youngster was born as he showed the fans of Boston what he was really made of and that when he needed to step up, he was more than able and capable.
